Bio: I focus on environmental literature/writing, with a current emphasis on the intersections of nature and urban development. As an extension of that, I am the founding president of Friends of Salt Creek (www.friendsofsaltcreek.org), a community/environmental advocacy group in south St. Pete, and I plan to use that experience in my next book, about urban stream systems that drain into Tampa Bay.
